Another version of Coming Out On Top is available. It contains additional bug fixes.
WHAT’S IN IT?
Aside from minor bug fixes, it contains small edits and typo corrections. It also fixes a bug that made it more difficult to get the “easter egg” path for some players.
SHOULD I DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION?
A new version with a gallery should be up in a few days, so if your current version’s running fine, I’d probably wait for the gallery fix.
WILL MY OLD SAVES WORK WITH THIS VERSION?
Depending on where you are in a route, probably not.
IF I WANT THIS VERSION, HOW DO I GET IT?
Use the same link (and password) you used to download the original game. Unzip it and run it the same way. This will copy over your older version, unless you decide to copy it into a different folder. (If you need help, email me using the contact page!)
WAIT, I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME A FEW HOURS AGO. DO I ALREADY HAVE THE NEW VERSION?
You probably do. There’s a file called “log.txt” in the Coming Out On Top-all folder. The fourth line tells you which version you have. If it says 1.1 or 1.0, you have an older version. The newest version is 1.1.2 (and the top of the game window will say “Coming Out On Top 1.1.2” as well.)
