Here’s a question for y’all who’ve played through the Ian storyline – I managed to get the best ending there is for him (spoilers?) but I can’t seem to get Mark to accompany him on his post-graduation trip, even with the sufficient funds. Is that not actually something that’s possible in the game?
The “best” endings for any of the story lines, including Ian’s, lock you out of that option. You must be friends with Ian and not be in a relationship with any of the other guys after graduation.
I bought the game today, downloaded the file, tried to open the game (the exe. file) but I keep getting a message that states: “C\:Users\AppData\Local\Temp7zOF1A3.tmp\lib\-i686\Coming Out On Top.exe Is it missing ?” My system runs on Windows 8 and I tried the tip someone posted earlier with adjusting the setting EnabledLUA to 0 in order to open older .exe files, but I still have no success in running the game. I’ve also downloaded the game files several times, trying to see if there was an error in the process, but nothing works. What am I not doing right ? Thanks and congrats on launching what is surely a groundbreaking game !
Thanks for the tip; not sure if I did this right but I did initially extract both the exe. and py. files. When I then try to open those them after the extraction, I get the “is it missing ?” message for the exe. and nothing happens with the py. I’ll try again.

I know it’s a a little cockblocking for saying this. Keep your distance a little bit. Make sure brad is on the right track first. Also be reasonable and polite with beau later on. Things will sort out itself.
not sure if i remember this correctly but the options i chose earlier to avoid that “69” dead end thingy is to refuse to cheat on him select the first option which says a “you screwed if you’re injured…” on him and keep your distance once your legs touched each other and select the first option for advise on the essay and always study then eventually you’ll see a much happier brad afterwards…lemme know if this worked for you
When you get to the part where he asks you for advice always go with the option that says something along the lines of a good beginning and ending of an essay. After that you HAVE to study during that period of time before you meet him.
Actually, though those first “You’re screwed” and “front and end” options are indeed required to get “happy Brad”, you can still get that through “leave your leg there”, and with *no* studying required whatsoever. I’ve tested all of it myself.

Omg, there are so many plot branches! I keep opening new dialogs after several hours of playing. That’s an amazing game, a masterpiece! For those who just started, the best way to play in the beginning is to pick one guy that you like and refuse all others, that will conserve a lot of time with trying different combinations of answers and find different ending for him. Then you can mix )

Hey, I am not sure if anyone got this glitch/bug. So, after going to the frat, Ian’s picture froze and stays on screen..Anyone encounter similar problem?
Yes, I noticed that too. If you come back from the back with Ian but without 2 girls and if you scheduled appointment for the military party at the same day, Ian picture does not disappear from the screen for a while.
No, it’s not. I played through it. You have to save at least 800 bucks until the end of the semester. To do so, keep choosing the option where you have to tutor to earn extra cash every weekend.
Found it! Thank you! The detail I didn’t know was that you needed to have a great relationship (platonic) with Ian and not end up with anyone. THEN it triggers. Pretty cool. 🙂

Has anyone been able to get an epilogue/ending for Phil? I unlocked two sex scenes but at the end he just says he’s leaving for recon training and doesn’t know when he can see Mark again. Am I missing something?
This isn’t true for Phil, he and Mark had sex /and/ they ended up staying together and I got a nice reuniting ending.
I had most trouble getting Jed’s good ending– I’ve yet to get it.
Anyway, Ian is husband, though, so. Everything else is insignificant details.

In the Jed ending I got they screwed in the bathroom but they didn’t stay together. Jed like broke off contact and went off to sell weed or something. I never bothered trying to get a better ending but I feel like there has to be one where they actually stay together.
Can you get the epilogue despite giving him the BJ in the car? My ending just cuts off right after the Penny becoming famous with brofinder part without any mention of Phil. It just goes back to the start screen. I’m not sure if that’s a bug tho

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what but I can’t buy the game. It seems like there was no problem with the payment but yet, nothing happens. I don’t get any “Downloading” message, no notification of any kind and I don’t know what’s the problem.

Someone tell me too please. I got good endings for everyone except Phil (with Brad’s being my favourite ^^) and I’m flummoxed. The game just ends right after Penny’s getting-famous CG without expounding upon what happened to Phil. Not sure if it’s a bug or I’m just not getting the good ending.
Follow Ian’s advice at the dinner. Be subtle with him and support him in arguments. However try to keep him calm. Also, nothing beyond kissing with him until you get past the trivia tournament. Once you get home from that, have all the fun you want. *wink wink*

Let’s see if I can remember this properly. For Phil – pick him up from the airport, say nothing (eat bread), go to his dad’s party, keep the tophat and do everything that Ian suggests at Phil’s party. Then at some later stage, accept his invite to babysit Violet, tell him to relax before he hurts something, use military references where you can and side with Phil instead of Violet all the way; at the end of the first babysit, tell him you did it because he’s cute. Accept his invite to go to the beach, decline Ian’s instant 6-pec, use slow methodical breaths while swimming, lift head high enough just to minimize fatigue. Accept date, avoiding overt sexual responses; prevent Phil from fighting. In the car, you have an option of kissing him, which would initiate a BJ scene (again, avoid overt responses or he’ll cut it short). Accept second babysitting job, side with Phil against violet, do the trivia and get all correct answers; go home and select the ‘Death Valley’ response to open up the sex scene option – either top or bottom is fine. Meet up at his dad’s party thing, tell the campaign manager he should be ashamed of himself, then stop Phil from fighting again, and congrats – you’ve got the happy ending. I think.
Wait, what IS the happy ending? I think I did all of that and I ended up with him heading off to recon training after meeting up with Mark at graduation….is that the happy ending?
Nope. You break up with him for 22 hours 34 minutes and 4 seconds then you get back together, say you love each other, then there’s a scene of you both kissing in the airport.
Sorry – I think you’re supposed to avoid the BJ for the happy ending.

Phil: Agree to meet Phil, pick him up from airport, go to fundraiser (**take off hat but say all the stupid things Ian said**), babysit Violet (reprimand her, and restrain Phil when necessary). Easy enough that I think I can lack detail.
Brad: Take up tutoring job, do not cheat, be supportive (mostly the first option), mention the importance of an education when Daisy comes, watch *video* with him and do whatever, tell Beau not to coddle him, see Brad again and do whatever, keep trying to go see Brad in loft, then all-nighter at your place.
Jed: fool around the first time you meet him, try to see him a second time, go to first concert, go to second concert and get naked, try not to be so hostile with Vince, bring money to the band, find Jed at first option on list beginning with 7th and say you will go to recital, when meeting Chandra select option with “CRABS”. This was a hard one.

you have to extract the game in a folder first before you start playing.(I assumed you just started the game from an unzipping software.)

Yes, I noticed that too. If you come back from the back with Ian but without 2 girls and if you scheduled appointment for the military party at the same day, Ian picture does not disappear from the screen for a while.
EDIT: It fixed itself in the following scene. It’s all good for now 🙂

In the Jed ending I got they screwed in the bathroom but they didn’t stay together. Jed like broke off contact and went off to sell weed or something. I never bothered trying to get a better ending but I feel like there has to be one where they actually stay together.
Can you get the epilogue despite giving him the BJ in the car? My ending just cuts off right after the Penny becoming famous with brofinder part without any mention of Phil. It just goes back to the start screen. I’m not sure if that’s a bug tho

Someone tell me too please. I got good endings for everyone except Phil (with Brad’s being my favourite ^^) and I’m flummoxed. The game just ends right after Penny’s getting-famous CG without expounding upon what happened to Phil. Not sure if it’s a bug or I’m just not getting the good ending.
Follow Ian’s advice at the dinner. Be subtle with him and support him in arguments. However try to keep him calm. Also, nothing beyond kissing with him until you get past the trivia tournament. Once you get home from that, have all the fun you want. *wink wink*

Let’s see if I can remember this properly. For Phil – pick him up from the airport, say nothing (eat bread), go to his dad’s party, keep the tophat and do everything that Ian suggests at Phil’s party. Then at some later stage, accept his invite to babysit Violet, tell him to relax before he hurts something, use military references where you can and side with Phil instead of Violet all the way; at the end of the first babysit, tell him you did it because he’s cute. Accept his invite to go to the beach, decline Ian’s instant 6-pec, use slow methodical breaths while swimming, lift head high enough just to minimize fatigue. Accept date, avoiding overt sexual responses; prevent Phil from fighting. In the car, you have an option of kissing him, which would initiate a BJ scene (again, avoid overt responses or he’ll cut it short). Accept second babysitting job, side with Phil against violet, do the trivia and get all correct answers; go home and select the ‘Death Valley’ response to open up the sex scene option – either top or bottom is fine. Meet up at his dad’s party thing, tell the campaign manager he should be ashamed of himself, then stop Phil from fighting again, and congrats – you’ve got the happy ending. I think.

Nope. You break up with him for 22 hours 34 minutes and 4 seconds then you get back together, say you love each other, then there’s a scene of you both kissing in the airport.

How do you get Jed’s ending? After the third visit to his apartment I don’t get anything on him again.
–Spoilers alert, will try to be as vague as possible. Also, I’m doing this from memory.–
Note: Can’t have more than one significant relationship, to my knowledge.
Ian: Flirt etc, accompany to frat party, get kissed before scoring him threesome, confess feelings after he wings for you (get kissed again), state that you’re just looking for somebody, sex or no sex; kiss him when he’s drunk later, confess feelings, return the gift, call Zoe and visit her loft.
Alex: Be professional the whole way through while flirting. Play racquetball with him twice, investigate when Penny asks, tell Alex he can’t give up and kiss him only – no office sex, follow through with investigation, tell Alex to **forget it** after he tells you the good news.
Phil: Agree to meet Phil, pick him up from airport, go to fundraiser (**take off hat but say all the stupid things Ian said**), babysit Violet (reprimand her, and restrain Phil when necessary). Easy enough that I think I can lack detail.
Brad: Take up tutoring job, do not cheat, be supportive (mostly the first option), mention the importance of an education when Daisy comes, watch *video* with him and do whatever, tell Beau not to coddle him, see Brad again and do whatever, keep trying to go see Brad in loft, then all-nighter at your place.
Jed: fool around the first time you meet him, try to see him a second time, go to first concert, go to second concert and get naked, try not to be so hostile with Vince, bring money to the band, find Jed at first option on list beginning with 7th and say you will go to recital, when meeting Chandra select option with “CRABS”. This was a hard one.
