I Use Only the Most Advanced Storytelling Tools

Had to reorder somebody’s Act 3 scenes. Hey, this mess makes sense to me. If the dog’s don’t knock it over, I’m golden.

Working on getting the beta out to testers by the 1st of April. I’ll have a better idea of what’s left to do at that point.

Progress and an estimation date. Sometime in 2-3 months? Score! Keep up the good and seemingly hard work.

Wait, wait, WAIT! Now, this has gone far enough, Ms Obscura. I have been watching very closely since December 2012. You’ve been working on this game diligently for forever (I counted). You post good and proper progress reports each month (I read them). And MOST importantly, you kept your spirits up through all the setbacks (I chill with your spirits; we’re tight).

This progress report is just a complete letdown. Not to say it was uninformative, but to say you sound like a kicked puppy. It has none of your usual pizzazz, no spark, no flair. I am now greatly concerned (enough to actually post here, in case you missed that) for your wellbeing and general happiness.
So, to correct what can only be the gross damage done to your soul…I wrote you a little poem :)

There was once a lady, as brilliant as day
Who dreamed of a sim game, only a lot more gay.

She smiled, yes she laughed, for it was insane
Who ever heard of a gay dating game?

But, when jokes fled, something was amiss.
This thought in her head…that she could not dismiss.

And thus was born an idea of kinds
It would be seductive as Hell and as great as Divine.

She gathered her thoughts and laid out her plans.
She studied and plotted all things appealing to a man.

And she told some folks what she planned to do.
They were excited, of course. This was totally new!

But, as fate would have it time took its toll
And the lady’s exhaustion weighed on her soul.

She wanted to ship, to appease all the rest,
But could she settle for something less than the best?

    “Absolute bullshit!”, Obscura did roar!
“They waited a year, what’s a few months more?”

She went back to her game, a blaze in her eyes.
“You’re overdue, but when you’re done they’ll know why.”
